Possibilites

So many possibilities exist when seven New England glass bead artists combine cold glass in a hot flame. From the hearts and minds of these artists come the exploration of possibilities in color, ideas, memories and inspiration. For some artists it is the flame and fluidity of the glass they are trying to capture, with others it is the texture of a favorite rock or shell. The inspiration is unique to the artist. We invite you to visit the Sandwich Glass Museum and explore the "Possibilities" exhibit from July 1 through September 31, 2008, and discover what these artists have created.

These glass artists have been working in glass for many years. Many of them teach and present their work internationally. But whether you come to look, be inspired or to learn more about glass lamp work we know you will enjoy this exciting and colorful exhibit.
