The Acorn

The Acorn is the journal of the Sandwich Glass Museum, Sandwich Historical Society, established for the publication of articles concerned with all aspects of glass - its history, art and technology, both national and international. Published and non-published authors are encouraged to submit previously unpublished manuscripts to the editorial board for consideration. Prior to submission, authors are requested to obtain from The Acorn editor an author's agreement stipulating the format requirements of written material, and the specifications for photos and illustrations. Once approved by the editorial board, editing is limited to matters of clarity and word usage. Articles deemed not suitable for publication will be returned as soon as possible.

All manuscripts and their photos and illustrations accepted by The Acorn are copyrighted by the Sandwich Historical Society, and the Society reserves the right to reproduce them in whole or in part in Society publications. Authors are automatically given permission to reproduce their own articles and illustrations.
